Globetrotters Return For "The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business" on CBS

Reality TV favorites, Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton, who captured the hearts of millions of fans during a top-four finish on Season 15 of “The Amazing Race,” will get another opportunity to thrill viewers worldwide as the popular Globetrotters tandem has been selected to compete in the upcoming special season of the Emmy Award-winning series, “The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.”

“The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business” will premiere on Sunday, Feb. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

“We are pumped for the chance to close the deal this time around,” said Big Easy. “We had a lot of fun competing in ‘The Amazing Race’ the first time, but now, we are focused on being the first ones to cross the finish line.”

“I’m taking any word jumble challenges,” joked Flight Time. The Globetrotters’ run in Season 15 ended when Big Easy had difficulty unscrambling a letter puzzle in the next to last episode, and the Globetrotters were forced to take a time penalty they could not overcome. “We had so much fun doing what we do best, entertaining fans across the globe. We can’t wait to do it again.”

Both Flight Time and Big Easy are also fan favorites on the basketball court, as they star in Globetrotters games all across the U.S. and the world. Flight Time, Big Easy, and their Globetrotter teammates are in the midst of their 2011 “4 Times the Fun” World Tour, playing 274 games in 220 cities across North America through mid-April.

A Lil' Somethin' Somethin' on Dralion: They're Here!

Dralion Is In The Building! GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

So we've reached our last installment of "A Lil' Somethin' Somethin'" and the time has come for DRALION to take the stage. It's sure to be a great show! For the last nine weeks, we've highlighted a different "Act" that you can see featured at the show. Still, those acts are just a taste of what to expect. There'll be plenty more to watch...but you have to catch the show to see it!

And the final post leads us to...

Act
DRALIONS
A blend of the traditional chinese dragon and lion dances takes on a new scope when reimagined by Cirque Du Soleil. In a dynamic and energetic tumbling sequence, the artists perform acrobatic moves while balancing on large wooden balls as the Dralion characters surround them with a spirited dance.

Want to catch the show? Click here to purchase your tickets today! Check out the "EVENTS" tab on the Facebook Fan page for all of the details. Also, keep posted throughout January for little-known Dralion facts and trivia!

Dralion
Dralion is a signature Cirque du Soleil ® production acclaimed by more than seven million people worldwide since it premiered in 1999 in Montreal, Canada. After many years performing under the big top, Dralion will now be presented in arenas throughout the United States and Canada, with the same quality performance.

Fusing the 3,000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature. The show’s name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.

Dralion, the four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form. Thus embodied, each element is represented by its own evocative colour: air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre. In the world of Dralion, cultures blend, Man and Nature are one, and balance is achieved. Bearing the unmistakable signature of Cirque du Soleil and featuring 50 international acrobats, gymnasts, musicians and singers, Dralion soars to new heights as it defies the laws of nature.

The "World Famous" Lipizzaner Stallions Riding Into West Michigan

The Orlando Sentinel calls it “A World-Class Act of Equine Artistry.”

The Omaha World Herald says "The Stallions have plenty of moves to back up their reputation. The horses...perform a series of jumps that will captivate audiences."

The Tuscon Citizen declares "They move, leap and dance with the elegant grace of ballroom dances, fused with the athletic agility of natural gymnasts...Prepare to be dazzled."

And they're coming to Van Andel Arena! Bringing many of the traditional movements and exercises presented at the world-renowned Spanish Riding School of Vienna, the “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions tour includes a stop at Van Andel Arena on Sunday, February 6th at 2PM.

The graceful dance of the Lipizzaner Stallions is a breathtaking ballet over 400 years in the making. Highlights of the performance include spectacular leaps and maneuvers known as the “Airs above the Ground,” born in the fury of the battlefield. Now these stunning maneuvers are preserved as an equestrian work of art that can be witnessed from the safety of your own seat.

Ticket prices are $25, $27 and $32. Children 12 and under along with Seniors (60+) receive 50% off in the lower two price levels and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, the DeVos Place and Van Andel Arena box offices, charge by phone, 800-745-3000, or purchase online at ticketmaster.com. Groups of 15 or more can save by contacting Laura Alexandria at 616-742-6185 or groupsales@smggr.com.

The Lipizzan is a rare and unique breed; its history and culture is known worldwide. Harkening back to a time when the horse was a symbol of grace and majesty, the Lipizzaner Stallions are a fun and entertaining family experience. One does not need to be a horse lover to enjoy the skill and beauty of these “world famous” horses.
