Three-time Grammy Award winner Keith Urban will help kick off Super Bowl XLV as part of the pregame festivities at Cowboys Stadium in North Texas on Sunday, February 6. FOX SUPER BOWL SUNDAY pregame coverage begins at 2:00 PM ET.

The appearance marks Urban’s return to North Texas where, just this past November, he rocked an audience of millions with an electrifying halftime performance at the Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New Orleans Saints.

Urban’s Super Bowl XLV performance will feature music from his recently released CD Get Closer, and will serve to kick off his just announced on-sale dates (to begin February 11) for his “Get Closer 2011 World Tour”, which will begin on June 16 in Mississippi. July 22, the “Get Closer 2011 World Tour” will perform at Van Andel Arena at 7:30 PM. Ticket prices are $27.50, $57.50, and $77.50. Tickets are available through the Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place box offices, ticket master outlets, and charge by phone at 1.800.745.3000 or online at ticketmaster.com.

He has sold nearly 20 million CDs, is a three-time Grammy Award winner, and has won a People’s Choice and American Music Award.
